Armin van Buuren has been named number one in the prestigious DJ Top 100 poll three times in a row, in 2007, 2008 and 2009 voted for by over 350,000 people across the world, as an indication of his prolific output over the more than 13 years hes been djing and producing. His 76, Shivers and Imagine artist albums are award-winning, his annual A State of Trance compilation series has ended up in the charts time after time, his Armin Only concerts have sold out with ten-thousands of fans flying in from all over the world to witness his prolific trance sound, his Armada Music label is a big success and the amount of fans is still growing fast. Being the official worlds most popular DJ is just one of his many achievements, but the driving force behind his success is an overriding passion for dance music. Despite a heavy tour-schedule and the pressure to improve himself as an artist, it's still everything Armin ever wanted. Even when times get hard, it's the music he holds on to.
